Green Himalayas was auspiciously inaugurated on 6th October 2019, in New Delhi and attended by eminent dignitaries including Ladkahi MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal and His Holiness Chetsang Rinpoche. Mr. Rajesh Patel, Founder Member of the Green Himalayas, spoke about the importance of building strong and confident local communities.
Along with afforestation, Green Himalayas also aims to promote renewable energy sources and create sustainable livelihoods for the locals in Ladakh.
